Security in Proxima Analytics

At Proxima Analytics, we take security very seriously. We understand that you trust us with your data, and we are committed to protecting it. Here are some of the measures we have in place to ensure that your data is secure:

DDOS Protection

One of the key measures we have taken to protect our customers' data is by partnering with Bunny.net for DDOS protection. DDOS attacks can be a major threat to any online service, as they can disrupt operations and potentially lead to data breaches. By working with Bunny.net, we are able to effectively mitigate these types of attacks and ensure that our service remains stable and secure. Hetzner and Scaleway, our hosting providers also have measures in place to prevent DDOS attacks on their servers. One such measure is the use of a distributed denial of service (DDoS) protection service, which monitors incoming traffic and filters out malicious traffic before it reaches the server. This helps to prevent DDOS attacks from overwhelming our servers and causing them to crash. In addition, both Hetzner and Scaleway have measures in place to mitigate the impact of DDOS attacks, such as load balancing and traffic shaping, which helps to spread the load of incoming traffic across multiple servers and prevent any one server from becoming overloaded. Additionally, both Hetzner and Scaleway have teams of security experts who continuously monitor their networks and systems for any signs of a potential DDOS attack, and take proactive measures to prevent them from occurring.

ISO 27001 Certified Hosting

At Proxima Analytics, we understand the importance of keeping our customers' data secure. That's why we have chosen to host our services with Hetzner and Scaleway, both of which are certified with the ISO 27001 standard for information security management. This certification ensures that our hosting providers have implemented robust measures to protect their infrastructure and data, which in turn helps to protect our customers' data as well. In addition to hosting with these highly secure providers, we also have measures in place such as firewalls and automated security audits to further protect our customers' data.

Firewalls and Security Patches

All of our servers have firewalls enabled, and we make sure to keep our software up to date with the latest security patches. We also perform automated security audits on our hosted Proxima Analytics to ensure that everything is running smoothly.

Automated Security Audits & Internal Security

As an open source company, we are able to obtain and mitigate any security risks that may arise. We also have a comprehensive security policy in place, which can be found here: https://github.com/proximahq/proxima/blob/canary/SECURITY.md. Additionally, we have enabled the security policy provided by Github: https://docs.github.com/en/code-security.

All of our internal communications are end-to-end encrypted, and we use Bitwarden for all of our password and authentication needs. We also have a filtering mechanism in place for Proxima Analytics dashboards, which helps to filter out bots and crawlers.

In 2023, we will be enrolling in the Cyber Essentials program as well. This program helps companies to identify and mitigate cybersecurity risks. We will also be releasing 2FA for Proxima Analytics in 2023, adding an extra layer of protection for your data.

Finally, we will be releasing a security audit for Proxima Analytics in 2023. This audit will provide a thorough review of our security practices, ensuring that we are always doing our best to protect your data.

At Proxima Analytics, we are committed to ensuring the security of your data. We take a proactive approach to cybersecurity and are always working to improve our security measures. If you have any questions about our security practices, don't hesitate to contact us.
